Apprentice program for German students

Jointly developed by German Swiss International School (GSIS) Hong Kong and the German Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the apprenticeship in Hong Kong gives high school graduates an opportunity to gain practical experience of underpinning theory learned in the school during a two-year period. Upon completion, students will be awarded with an internationally recognized diploma in either foreign trade or logistics management.

Students of the Hong Kong apprentice program will spend one and a half days each week at the Business College of the GSIS, attending classes in business procedures, accounting as well as Chinese studies. The curriculum is jointly developed by GSIS and GIC together with the training companies after many years of experience.

Schmidt Electronics is proud of being one of the training companies to provide mentorship to young people and to introduce them to the Asian business life. During the program, the trainees will have opportunity to expose to a full scope of training in different sectors, different regions and different departments such as Human Resources, Finance & Account, and Sales & Marketing to Operation & Logistics, etc.
